The Best Autumn Activities at F&M

1. Pick Your Own Pumpkins and Produce

And just one mile from campus, the 50-acre Spalding Conservancy has been used in F&M coursework and research since the 1980s. This urban conservancy serves as a natural laboratory for students and local environmental groups. .

Student Research Explores Pennsylvania History
Undergraduate research and community-based learning are key components of Reckoning With Lancaster, a curricular project at F&M supported by a Humanities for All Time Grant from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. Students Jessica Kinker 鈥26 and Hallie Hushion 鈥25 had a chance to experience both this summer while researching the Carlisle Indian Industrial School.
